MEDIA again at Cannes Film Festival
Once more the MEDIA programme is participating at the Cannes Film Festival, 14-25 May.
No less than 14 MEDIA-funded films have been selected for screening during the Festival. EC President, José Manuel Barroso, and Commissioner Viviane Reding, responsible for EU audiovisual policy, will celebrate Europe Day on 19 May with EU Ministers. Together they will also explore ways of forging worldwide partnerships to promote greater co-production and distribution of films on a basis of cooperation and reciprocity.
