Registering at IST 2004
A registration fee is charged to participate in the IST 2004 Event. Registration includes
coffee-breaks, luncheons and receptions. For more information about the
opportunities you will receive at IST 2004, please read here.
From Sunday 14 November, you are invited to Register for IST 2004 by paying at the venue of the event in The Hague.
We offer free registration for:
- Journalists providing us with a press card number or other proof;
- Persons with reduced mobility, visual and hearing impediments;
- Students providing us with a copy of their student card or a certificate signed by their Programme Director.

- Person manning on of the officially accepted IST 2004 The Hague Event exhibition stand. Validation will be done according to the official list of persons provided by Exhibition Committee (maximum 2 persons per stand).
- Fee: Free entrance
- Journalist
- Will be accepted as a journalist a person who writes for newspapers, news agencies or magazines or prepare news to be broadcast on radio, television, and online media. The professional press card or, when not possible, a certified letter from the chief editor will be requested to validate the registration to the IST 2004.

- Student
- Persons having a student card or a certificate signed by programme Director.
- Fee: Free entrance
- Disabled and accompanying person
- Deaf and person with hearing impairments; blind and visually impaired person; person with reduced mobility + 1 person accompanying a disabled person.

- EC Guest
- Person invited by the Information Society Directorate General of the European Commission. Validation will be done according to Information Society Directorate General invitation list.
- Fee: Free entrance
- Dutch Taskforce Guest
- Person invited by the Dutch Authorities. Validation will be done according to invitation lists communicated by the Dutch Authorities.
- Fee: Free entrance
- EISTP Jury
- Member of the European IST Prize. Validation will be done according to invitation lists communicated by Euro-CASE.
- Fee: 350€
- EISTP Session Guest
- Person invited by an EISTP exhibitor to attend the Awards Ceremony only. Validation will be done according to invitation lists communicated by Euro-CASE.
- Fee: 350€
- Chairperson and Speaker
- Person chairing a session or delivering a speech at IST 2004 The Hague event. Validation will be done according to lists of persons provided by the Programme Committee.

- Networking Organiser

- National Contact Point and Members of ISTC and ISTAG
- NCP invited by the European Commission. Validation will be done according to the official list of persons provided by Information Society Directorate General.

- Person officially in charge of the writing of the Conference Proceedings under the supervision of Information Society Directorate General.
- Fee: Free entrance
- EISTP Exhibitor
- Person manning one of the 20 officially nominated Winners of the European IST Prize. Validation will be done according to the official list of persons provided by Euro-CASE (maximum 2 persons per stand).

- Information sessions
- Person wishing to attend the information sessions.
- Fee: 150€
- Sponsor
- Person representing a company sponsoring the event. Validation will be done according to the official list of persons provided by the officials in charge of sponsorship activities.

- IST 2003 Evaluation Winner
- One of the 20 winners of the IST 2003 Milan evaluation process. Validation will be done according to the official list of winners.

- European Commission Staff
- Civil servant from the EC and other European Institutions attending the IST 2004 The Hague event.
- Fee: Free entrance
- Dutch Taskforce Staff
- Person mandated by the Dutch Taskforce to attend the IST 2004 The Hague Event. Validation will be done according to the official list provided by the Dutch task force.

Making a Visa Application to enter the Netherlands
If you are citizen of a country from where it is necessary to have a visa for visiting the Netherlands, you have to obtain the visa before travelling to the IST 2004 Event.
