This session will present the IST Work Programme for 2005-06: the Strategic Objectives, the priorities, the instruments and the details of how to make a proposal. Special emphasis will be put on the understanding of the characteristics and concrete use of the instruments, and on the different cost models available. The session will allow for extensive interactions with the audience. The presentations will also address the practical aspects of proposal submissions, evaluation and negotiations and the contracting process, with details also on the modalities for participation of SMEs and non-EU countries, especially INCO target countries.
