Intended Participants
All representatives of FP7 Call 1 and Call 5 projects in the area of Software & Services are invited to participate. Also welcome are representatives from other research projects notably from NESSI or the Future Internet Assembly who wish to collaborate with the Software & Services projects.
Objectives of the meeting
The meeting has the following objectives:
• To consolidate the collaboration activities among the projects in order to build an even stronger community.
• To give the opportunity to understand key results of the projects/collaboration working groups in order to facilitate reuse of these results and to better exploit their results by finding synergies with the other projects
• To achieve a better understanding of the results of the FP7 projects in the “Internet of Services” area
• In view of the next "Horizon 2020" Framework Programme for research, which will start in 2014, this meeting has also the objective to collect ideas and understand the needs of the "Software and Services" research community, in order to advice the European Commission in the drafting of "Horizon 2020". This activity is directly linked to the online consultations on the same subject which are organised on the HOLA! web portal. The Consultations include webinars with experts, moderated discussions, possibility to suggest own themes for consultation. You are invited to register to the web portal working group 'Online Consultations: Internet of Services towards Horizon 2020 FP' to get all the relevant information.
In order to achieve these objectives, interactive sessions will be organised, including presentations, demos and discussions facilitating possible take up of research results and collaboration activities among projects. To find out more about the Collaboration Working Group objectives click here.
Posters
All projects are invited to develop a poster that will explain the aims and approach of the project, together with the achieved and planned results. Name of contact person, telephone number and time slots available for discussion should be clearly indicated, so that networking is facilitated.
Leaflets and other dissemination material
Near the registration facilities, there will be tables available where projects can distribute leaflets and other dissemination material of interest.
Furthermore, the brochure with factsheets of the projects & achievements sheets of Call 1 will be available (no need to print separate sheets).
