Digital Cities

The European Union will hold its DIGITAL CITIES event at the Shanghai World Expo on 18 May 2010.

Echoing the Expo theme "Better city, better life", DIGITAL CITIES will discuss ICT solutions that can help face major urban challenges arising nowadays with half of the global population living in cities.

On May 18, a series of high-level seminars on "ICT Research" will be held at the World Expo, tackling critical issues for the development of tomorrow's sustainable cities.
