Special sessions

Ideal-IST workshop on FP7 ICT evaluation - 26 September, 10:00 - 13:00

The objective of this workshop is to share the experience of the evaluation process with potential future proposers and potential future evaluators. The workshop will allow small groups of participants to learn how to identify the strengths and weaknesses of specially prepared outline proposals, working under the guidance of an experienced evaluator. More information

Human Language Technology Days 2012 - 27 & 28 September

HLT Days 2012 intends to promote language technology by gathering experts from the European Commission, IBM, Google and many European research infrastructures and institutions who will try to answer important questions on the future of language and language processing in a globalized digital information society. At the same time, the event is a Road Show of European language technology with particular attention drawn to natural language processing in Poland.

This meeting is organised by the Institute of Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the University of Łódź in the framework of the ICT-PSP project CESAR (Central and South-East European Resources, part of META-NET). More information

NESSI Members Day - 28 September

The event will provide the participants with a unique opportunity to meet key actors in the Software and Services sector and to support the creation of project consortia in response to the calls of the FP7 ICT Work Programme 2013. High-level participants from the private and public sectors have been invited to this Members Day, which is dedicated to discussing relevant NESSI topics such as the first Work Programme of the upcoming framework programme for research and innovation Horizon 2020, developments for PPPs and ETPs in the next framework programme and research activities in areas like Future Internet, Big Data and Cloud Computing.
