The programme
mainly consisted of thematic networking sessions with presentations of
project ideas by potential proposers. All relevant ICT priorities were covered.
Potential project coordinators could present their project idea at the
event by responding to the call for
presentations.
16-19 May, Future Internet Week
The
Future Internet Week
was composed of several different elements and events
that investigated the policy, technological, and socio-economic aspects of
the Future Internet involving participants from the industry, academia, users,
as well as stakeholders from the European Commission and from the Member States:
- Future Internet Research & Experimentation (FIRE) event, 16 May
- Internet of Things Conference 2011, 16 May
- European Network of Living Labs (EnoLL) event, 16 May
- Future Internet Conference: Future Internet "Partnering for innovation", 17 May
- Future Internet Forum, 18 May
- Coordination of the European Future Internet Forum of Member States (ceFIMS) workshop, 18 May
- Future Internet Assembly, 18-19 May
17-18 May, Hungarian Innovation Techshow
The Hungarian Innovation Techshow
was an exhibition showing 21 innovative Hungarian
high-tech applications that were selected by an independent jury from the 'Quest for the new innovators
of Hungary' national open contest. The contestants presented their works to a high-level Hungarian and
international delegation on 17 May and to nearly 500 international and Hungarian
professionals on the following day on 18 May.

18 May afternoon, ICT Coordinators' Workshop, Exchange of Experience
Coordinators
of ICT collaborative projects were welcome to exchange experiences and learn from
each other in a practical workshop organised by Ideal-ist, the network of ICT
FP7 National Contacts Points. For more information, click

19 May morning, ICT Venture Gate Brokerage Event
This event helped innovative SMEs in the EU Framework Programme to get their
ICT investments off the ground. During the
ICT Venture Gate Brokerage Event, practical advice
was given to facilitate access to finance. SMEs had the possibility to
submit their own innovative ICT concept to a group of European investors.

20 May afternoon, SECAS Workshop
SECAS provides support to European ICT researchers interested in RTD
collaboration with counterparts in Australia and Singapore. A workshop was
held on Friday, 20 May from 15:00 to 16:00 o'clock in the Expo Congress Hotel at
the ICT Proposers' Day with the aims to present SECAS and the collaborative
opportunities with Australia, New Zeland and Singapore. For more information
