Background information

Proving that ICT can contribute to reduce carbon emissions, the European Commission is taking another step on the path towards a sustainable society. During the ICT for Energy Efficiency Event in Brussels a parallel virtual event will take place online.

Together with the live broadcasting of the conferences, two interactive tools will also be available. The chat room and the voting pools will grant online participants the chance to give their opinions, share ideas with each other and ask questions to the speakers.

As a result we will not only be avoiding carbon emissions, but also promoting interactivity among participants who are in different countries.
