ICT 2010 Night: Social Event

What? Cocktail party organised by the Belgian Presidency of the European Union on the occasion of the ICT 2010 event in the prestigious Saint Hubertus Royal Gallery. The evening programme includes food tasting of Belgian and Brussels' specialties, showcasing of Belgian and European “digital media artworks installations" as well as a promenade among the gallery's famous shops. What? A workshop to discuss how to make the Digital Agenda a reality. You can even propose your own "big idea" for the Digital Agenda through an online form before Sept. 10th. The best ideas will be presented at the workshop.

Energy Efficient ICT: High-level Signatory Event
When? September 28, 16:00 - 17:00
What? Large telecom operators and global equipment manufacturers will sign up to the voluntary Codes of Conduct on Broadband Equipment and Data Centres in presence of the Vice-President of the European Commission Neelie Kroes. They will also discuss with her how it can be ensured that voluntary initiatives such as the Codes of Conduct and the ICT4EE Forum contribute successfully to attaining Europe's environmental goals.
