How to apply
Before you apply
Please check the following before you apply:
- Participants in current programmes managed by the European Commission's Directorate General for Information Society and Media (such as ICT, IST, CIP, eTen, eContent, Safer Internet, ICT PSP and Research Infrastructures) should consult their funding authority before submitting an application
- Other applicants should ensure that they have the required resources in terms of personnel, equipment and finance to participate in the exhibition
- What do we provide exhibitors with and what we do not
Which stand for me?
The call for proposals concerns the following four exhibition areas:

Research and technology projects with high-tech prototype demonstrators

Information stands about ICT-related activities (without technology prototypes)

An SME village: success stories of SMEs involved in ICT
- The Call for the SME village is open to any SME having a link to current or previous programmes managed by the European Commission's Directorate General for Information Society and Media (such as ICT, IST, CIP, eTen, eContent, Safer Internet, ICT PSP and Research Infrastructures).
- This includes SMEs participating or having participated in those programmes, or SMEs exploiting results coming from these programme (e.g. SMEs that have been created to exploit results from such projects).
- Exhibits can be complemented by information on and illustration of the impact of participation in EU Framework Programme for the development of the SME. Staff on the stands must be able to report on the experience in participating in those projects.

An International village

The Call for Exhibits for the International Village is open to
-
a) International ICT projects supported through EU Research Framework Programmes, or having a link to EU Research Framework Programmes; and
-
b) Information stands of third countries/regions (outside the EU and Associated Countries). These stands can be suggested by third country authorities or IST/ICT international cooperation support projects.

The exhibition will include a further two areas, which are not covered by the present call for proposals:

The Belgian National Pavilion

Exhibitors for the Belgian National Pavilion are selected independently of the call selection process. However, exhibitors in this area are requested to complete the exhibition form to provide details of the exhibit for publication.

How to apply online
You must have an Information Society events profile to submit a networking proposal. Follow the instructions below:
- Step 1: Create an Information Society events profile if you do not already have one. You already have an events profile if you created one for the 'ICT 2008' or 'ICT Proposers' Day' event web sites. If you are not sure whether you have an events profile or not, use the password reset page to recover your details.
- Step 2: Once you have created your events profile, log-in to the web site, and select 'Create a new Exhibition proposal'
- Step 3: Enter the details of your exhibition proposal in the online form. You may work on your proposal in draft form as long as you wish, before finally submitting it.
- Step 4: Preview your proposal and then 'submit' it when complete. You can edit your proposal even after you have submitted it up to the closing date. You must submit your proposal before the closing date, 15 April 2010 at 12h00 CEST (extended deadline). Otherwise, your proposal will not be eligible and will not be evaluated.
The Commission reserves the right to change any of the above without prior notification.
