Networking Sessions - selection criteria

The Networking Committee will select the networking proposals submitted according to how closely they match the following selection criteria.

Criteria Description
1. Scope and Relevance

 

Is there a clear ICT objective and is it relevant to one or several of the pillars of the Framework Programme (Cooperation, Ideas, People, Capacities) or the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme?

Does it address a new opportunity within the Framework Programme?

Does it address a topic relevant for the European Union's ICT strategy?

2. Stakeholders Addressed; Commitment and Endorsement What communities are being targeted?, and in what role?

How open is the scope?(avoid closed sessions)

Is there evidence of sufficient commitment that the results will be followed-up?

Is there evidence of sufficient endorsement from the stakeholders?

How will participation be solicited?

3. Impact and Added Value What would be the impact of achieving the session objectives?

Will the session contribute to a strategic objective?

What is the added value of organising it within the context of ICT 2008?

Is there a relation with other sessions in the programme?
