FET09 provides room for spontaneously organised discussions. You decide, together with the other participants, what you want to discuss and we will schedule and announce your session as flexibly as possible, based on the raised interest. An online forum for your session will allow you to gauge the interest of other conference delegates in your activity. The schedule and location of self-organised sessions will be announced on the FET09 website and on the displays at the conference site. We are also considering other means, like Twitter.

NB: To suggest a new topic or join a discussion at FET09, you will need to create a profile. You will already have a (Information Society Events) profile if you created one for previous DG INFSO events, like the 'ICT Proposers Day 2009' 'ICT 2008' or 'Köln 2007'. Click here to recover your login details. If you don't have a profile yet, create one here.

We strongly encourage to make your profile public, as it will facilitate interaction before and during the conference. If you do not have a public profile, only your first name, last name and organisation will appear.
