Virtualizing and Maximizing Opportunisum with Wireless Mesh Networking

Objective is to form a STREP consortium for wireless-wired convergence nets (call 4) or Call 5.

Technical objective is to make networks and devices well connected using affordable packet-switching infrastructure, considering opportunism, energy and environment-awareness issues. Will define new architecture, paradigm, and protocol stack addressing key issues for wireless mesh networking, including aspects on virtualizing, performance, security, manageability/reconfigurability, also possibly the migration path.
