The eEurope: Health Online Chapter supports an action to demonstrate examples of Best Practices in eHealth in Europe. In order to seek examples of such Best Practices, the IST Work Programme of the 5th Framework Programme called for Best Practices and Trials in eHealth in Action Lines 1.1.4 in 2000 and 1.1.3 in 2001. Both Action Lines received a large number of very high quality proposals, from which ongoing projects were selected.
