Health related information is amongst the most frequently accessed information on the Internet. eEurope proposes to establish a set of quality criteria for health websites, clarify legal aspects of e-health and promote best practice in health telematics infrastructure.
5 target actions have been adopted which are detailed on the new eHealth subsite.
What has been done so far?
Communication on Quality Criteria: 
Progress on all action lines of eEurope is monitored has been monitored at three levels - progress at EU level, progress at Member State level and data collection in the context of benchmarking. Progress reports by Community institutions and Member States have been updated end of 2001.
