First Digital Agenda Assembly, Brussels, 16-17 June 2011

In the autumn 2010 the European Commission carried out the so-called Going Local exercise right after the publication of the Digital Agenda.

The feedback from the visits (PDF 124KB) was very positive so we decided to launch a second round of visits in autumn 2011.

Going Local 2011 will not be a repetition of the first round. This time events will be more adapted to the specific priorities in the Member States.

Objectives

  • Reporting on progress of the Digital Agenda;
  • Identifying challenges for the future;
  • Stimulate actions and commitments.
