PRINCIPLE
Driver Drowsiness Monitoring and Warning systems can detect the driver's drowsiness in several ways:
- by tracking
- driver's facial features
- movements of hands and feet
- movements of feet
- by analysing
- eye-closures and head pose
- by tracking
- changes in heartbeat
EXPLANATION
This information - or the combination of several factors - is continuously analysed and the driver is alerted if drowsiness or distraction is detected.
