Driver Drowsiness Monitoring and Warning systems can detect the driver's drowsiness in several ways:

• by tracking
  • driver's facial features
  • movements of hands and feet
  • movements of feet
• by analysing
  • eye-closures and head pose
• by tracking
  • changes in heartbeat

EXPLANATION

This information - or the combination of several factors - is continuously analysed and the driver is alerted if drowsiness or distraction is detected.
