SSPS for the partner database and search functionality on the ICT PSP website supporting the ICT PSP project coordinators and partners as well as other project partners and constituency, in the context of the ICT PSP Programme based on articles 154, 155 and 156 of the Treaty establishing the European Community managed by DG INFSO through the ICT PSP partner search on the following website: http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/activities/ict_psp/cf/partner

1. The Specific e-Service "ICT PSP partner database and partner search"

This e-Service is made available on this web page in order to offer an online electronic registration and online search functionality of partners. If you are looking for project partners in your field of expertise, you can use the public partner search tool on our website. You can look for partners by theme, country and organisation activity. You can view all the necessary contact information (personal and organisational), and the ICT PSP partner information (project information).

As this e-Service collects and further processes personal data, Regulation (EC) 45/2001, of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data, is applicable.

The personal data collected and further processed are: First Name*, Last Name*, E-mail address* (functional e-mail address of organisation recommended), Nationality*, Organisation*, Organisation type*, Job title*, Organisation address*, Organisation phone number*, Organisation description*, Organisation activity*, Project theme*, Project focus*, Partner role* and website. * mandatory fields

The purpose of the collection of personal data for the e-Service is to enable interested parties to search for potential partners.

The server-side technology used is Coldfusion in collaboration with an Oracle database.

3. Who has access to your information and to whom is it disclosed?

For the purposes detailed here above, access to your personal data will be given to the following persons, without prejudice to a possible transmission to the bodies in charge of a monitoring or inspection task in accordance with Community law:

4. How do we protect and safeguard your information?

The collected personal data and all information related to the above mentioned e-service is stored on the servers of either DG Information Society and Media, the operations of which abide by the Commission's security decisions and provisions established by the Directorate of Security for this kind of servers and services.

Access to all collected personal data is only possible to the above described populations with a UserId/Password, unless as a response to a specific request by the above described populations, in which case the Commission staff would access the database with UserId/Password and extract the necessary information and send it to the recipient.

5. How can you verify, modify or delete your information?

In case you want to verify which personal data is stored on your behalf by the responsible controller, have it modified respectively corrected, or deleted, you may make this change yourself. The password you chose during registering will allow you to log in to the system and update your personal information or delete your registration.

Special attention is drawn to the consequences of a delete request, in which case any trace to be able to contact you will be lost.

6. How long do we keep your data?

Your personal data are kept for the duration of the ICT PSP projects (plus 5 years after the end of the project to allow for audits).
