Coaching workshop for eTEN ID Project Participants, 15th December 2008
A Coaching Workshop for eTEN ID Project Participants on the preparation and processing of Financial Statements will be held in the Commission premises at avenue de Beaulieu 25, 1160 Brussels, Belgium on15th December next from 09.30 to 17.00. Please read here the Agenda
The purpose of the workshop is to train eTEN ID Project Participants in the preparation of financial statements and to familiarise them with the requirements for payment of Community funding and with the manner in which the Commission collects and processes evidence of costs from the ID projects.
The workshop will explain the eTEN ID financial statement guidelines, the steps to be followed and the relevant documents that have to be complied with. The workshop will provide essential information for the preparation of financial statements that has not been presented in previous coaching workshops. It is viewed as an important initiative to improve the processing of ID financial statements and to speed up payments to projects.
The workshop is addressed to all participants in eTEN Initial Deployment projects and directed at their administration/financial officers and other persons responsible for the compilation/preparation of payment requests and financial statements.
All project participants are invited to the workshop. Attendance of the technical managers and financial officers is mandatory for coordinators (attendance mandatory under the relevant article in Annex III of the grant agreement); the financial officers from beneficiaries are strongly urged to attend (but their Attendance is not mandatory); and the financial officers from members will be welcome to attend if they wish.
Time will be allocated project participants to meet with their PO in the afternoon. If you wish to do this please arrange the details with the POs before the workshop.
The costs of attending the workshop are eligible costs to the project (the project must not have closed for this to apply). This means that the project can include them in their financial statement and they will be reimbursed at the rate of grant aid to the project (that is 30% for an Initial Deployment project or the rate of funding for each partner if that is different).
