Eurogene Project will address health care issues through a special online e-service in Europe. Euromuse.net is a public access portal providing multilingual information on museums and their exhibitions throughout Europe. euromuse.net offers both, a ‘one-stop’ web tool to the greatest exhibitions in Europe for the public as well as a special data interface called Harmonise to deliver structured data from the museums for the tourism sector.

i-Set

The objective of the DRUGCHECK project is to validate an on-line, pan-European service, which gathers, organises, stores, makes available and presents information and data covering pharmaceuticals and their interactions. The service provides a user-friendly, reliable, intelligent and fast mechanism to accept questions and advanced queries, process them and offer accurate answers justified with the relevant bibliography, in order to assist healthcare professionals in making the proper decisions on medication prescriptions and pharmaceutical treatments both in and out of the hospital without interrupting healthcare delivery.

Village

VILLAGE will support the pan-European initial deployment of a cooperative Customer Relationship management (CRM) service for SME, which allows for access to and share of relevant customer’s data and marketing, sales and customer support processes within SME networks. This service is already available in Germany. VILLAGE will support the participation of SME communities in the global e-business economy providing an adapted access to CRM services.

ClearView is an ‘SME single window’ – a low-cost web-based service for SMEs which provides a single location where customs and regulatory documentation can be generated and stored, and from where it can be submitted to several agencies. Cidre

CIDRE aims at introducing "mobile citizen services" in the trans-European market. Mobile citizen services may be provided at locations like neighbourhood centres, libraries, hospitals or shopping malls by civil servants, using mobile equipment with wireless networks. Taking into consideration local conditions and requirements, pilot trials with mobile equipment will be carried out in various test regions in Sweden, Estonia, and the Netherlands.

Social Village

Social Village aims at providing European Social Districts with a unique gateway. The R-Bay project aims at establishing an online marketplace within the field of radiology, i.e. an eMarketplace for the buying and selling of imaging related eHealth services. Netc@rds

The NETC@RDS initiative is devoted to establish new improved health care administration services for mobile citizens across the EU. The actual phase aims at deploying e-health services via the European Health Insurance Card through a wide trans-European network simplifying health care access procedures. NETC@RDS successfully tested the electronic version of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) during its first and second Market Validation phases. The Initial Deployment phase of the project - launched on 1 June 2007 - will deploy operational services in all targeted sites, to a total of 305 service sites serving 566 service points across the participating countries.

GuideStar Europe

GuideStar provides an online, highly searchable catalogue of reports on the civil society organisations (CSOs) operating in a country, enabling organisations to communicate their work effectively and easily to national and international audiences. The GuideStar Europe project will assess the feasibility of implementing GuideStar in four European countries as well as a pilot European portal site.

EuroPriSe

A consortium of eight European organisations and enterprises lead by the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ICPP/ULD) combined forces to gather the requirements for a European Privacy Seal. Role model for the project is the Privacy Seal (Datenschutz-Guetesiegel) Schleswig-Holstein. The legally based privacy certificate, yet unique within Europe, has successfully been established particularly on the German market since 2000 and has in the meantime been awarded to approx. 40 products. In the future, the European Privacy Seal is to certify that IT products and services comply with European legislation, in particular with the 1998 Data Protection Directive.

Caselex

In June 2007 Caselex s.a.r.l has launched Europe’s premier Internet service offering national and European court cases linked to EU law. The initial offering covers intellectual property law, labour law, competition law and company law. Its cases cover the Supreme Courts of the EU Member States and the EFTA Member States. The European Court of Justice, the European Court of First Instance and the EFTA Court of Justice will follow suit.

SEMOPS II

The Secure Mobile Payment Service International Introduction (SEMOPS II.) Market Validation project has the objective to introduce the SEMOPS real time electronic payment service with 6 payment processors in four countries and to evaluate the service both as local operations and as an international payment network. Various payment transaction types will be introduced, mobile and internet ones, both on local and international level. The project workplan includes market research, financial and business modeling and the preparation of the necessary legal framework for the operation.

Job-Rotation

Job Rotation is a training service where the unemployed are trained continuously in order to replace employees in SMEs when they have to leave their job for training courses. The system also offers a dynamic online e-learning platform. The Job Rotation project integrates and coordinates Job-Rotation Activities within an on-line platform. Job Rotation will validate the market in five European countries (Greece, Germany, Italy, Poland and Slovenia).

WISE-UP

The WISE-UP project will test and validate on different European markets an innovative service for ‘mobile workers’ which provides bi-directional access from mobile terminals to technical data such as datasheets, technical reports and digital maps. The service will be tested in a telecommunications maintenance environment where maintenance engineers are working at customers' sites and need real-time access to technical information and the location of technical equipment in the field.

Autotronics

The Autotronics (Blended learning service imparting automotive and electronics competencies for car garages and mechanics with Europe-wide accepted certificates) service will address the current and anticipated skill shortages of car mechanics and employees in car garages. It will offer specifically blended learning courses tailored to the needs of small and medium sized car garages and car mechanics. The courses will be adapted to local requirements, allow self-guided learning to be completed at the learner´s own pace, be up to date and highly practical, contain interactive multimedia elements and take into account the characteristics and styles of adult learners. Additionally, all courses will include final examinations rewarding successful participants with a certificate.

The Registry Information Service on European Residents (RISER Service) is an eGovernment Service facilitating the retrieval of information from official population registers for the purpose of cross-border address verification via Internet. The service is supplied by national or local authorities with data from population registers all over Europe. EUROWEX provides an Internet based service to university professors which helps them to keep track of the performance of their students throughout the academic year. HELLODOC

The objective of the eTen HELLODOC project is to validate the HELLODOC home-based rehabilitation service for the functional recovery of the arm in Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Traumatic Brain Injury. The pilot service is currently implemented in three hospitals in Italy, Belgium and Spain.

The EAL-NET project will demonstrate the economic sustainability and the viability of a new trans-national e-Recruitment service addressed to graduates and to businesses. Career info, provided by the Universities will be collected and enriched (with the contribution of the graduate himself) obtaining an effective dynamic CV. The EAL services will facilitate the placement of young graduates in the labour market and favour researcher mobility at a European level.

e-COMODE

The e-COMODE eTEN project started in April 2005. e-COMODE offers schools an open digital learning environment, which assists young students in creating models. This computer-based environment supports students in expressing their ideas, building, designing and testing models of various situations with rich visualisation and simulation tools. Moreover, the e-COMODE eLearning Environment encourages and supports collaborative problem solving and online communication with peers and teachers, promoting the acquisition of these skills, which are also extremely important for the young students’ future.

Cardiovascular diseases are a leading cause of death in Europe accounting for over 4 million deaths each year. The care and treatment of cardiovascular disease therefore constitute a significant priority of the health care system of the European countries. EURIDICE
 

The EURIDICE project will validate the sustainability of the EURIDICE service to establish the basis for its further deployment in the enlarged Union. The service will provide the educational institutions wide source content from cultural heritage sector institutions. EURIDICE is a combination of technical instruments, content, networking platforms and community of users and providers, who jointly aim at offering an open environment to the educational institutions in Europe.

PPP
 

Participants from administrations and the private sector are invited to take part in new working groups that will explore concrete ways of exchanging good practices between administrations. The PPP Support Action project - assisting e-Ten projects in reaching deployment - is part of a bigger set of initiatives that are currently run by the European Commission and its working groups such as the Good Practice Framework and are designed to move the eGovernment agenda forward by facilitating practical exchange of good practice.
