Romania able to participate in eTEN programme

Romania, an EU candidate country, is now able to fully participate in the eTEN programme. The Memorandum of Understanding covering Romania's participation in the Community programme concerning trans-European telecommunications networks (eTEN) between the European Community and Romania was signed in Bucharest on 14 June 2004 by Commissioner Liikanen and Minister Dan Nica. Romania will participate fully in the eTEN programme in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
