Public Consultation
Give us your opinion about the future of the eTEN programme!
Take part in shaping policy related to the future of the eTEN programme by responding to the public consultation on a new framework programme for competitiveness and innovation (2007-2013). Under this new programme, a number of instruments from different policy areas are being integrated integrated in support of implementing the Lisbon strategy to improve Europe's competitive position.
Elements of the new programme support innovation and sustainable use of resources, promote entrepreneurship, ease SMEs access to finance, promote technologies for intelligent use of energy, and ensure the best use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The programme is under preparation as part of the European Union's financial perspectives for 2007 to 2013.
In the area of ICT, the programme will incorporate work of the current programmes eTEN, Modinis and, after 2008, also a follow-up to eContent+ is foreseen.
The public consultation will be open until 7 February 2005 and can be

We are very interested in hearing your views and learning from your experience and therefore we strongly encourage you to respond to this consultation and voice your opinions in terms of a successor programme to eTEN.
