eTEN programme

The European Community programme eTEN finished at the end of 2006. By providing funds it supported the deployment of trans-European e-services in the public interest. eTEN programme covered the following themes: eGovernment, eHealth, eInclusion, eLearning, Services for SMEs and

Most of the projects ended in 2009. A few projects are still running with an end date in 2010. If you are interested in any of eTEN projects please consult the online project database

From 2007 onwards European Commission supports the electronic services in the areas of public interest through the ICT Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP), which will run until 2013. ICT PSP is a component of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).

You may wish to explore the complementary funding sources and potential synergies of your project with the measures funded under Cohesion policy by getting in touch with the managing authorities in charge of the Structural Funds programmes in your region.  Information on the measures that can be funded from the Structural Funds in a region can be found in the section 'Programme Summaries'.

The "Practical Guide to EU funding opportunities for Research and Innovation" might help you to find a way into the different existing EU funding in support for research, technological development and innovation.
