Report of the Expert Workshop on European RTD in the Field of ICT &
Ageing of 16 December 2009
The workshop was held on 16th December in the context of the ‘ICT & Ageing’ study with a twofold objective: a) to take stock of achievements of European level research activities in the field of ICT & Ageing and; b) to identify themes that warrant further attention in forthcoming work programmes. -
Report of the FP7 consultation meeting on Service and Social Robotics for
the Ageing Population of 2 December 2009
The objective of the workshop was to review current trends in research and applications and provide strategic guidance for drafting the ICT Work Programme 2011/2012. The workshop was focused on the topic of service and social robotics for Ageing Well and should result in possible future orientations for application driven research in this field, in particular with a view to practical deployment in real-life situations and industrial exploitation.

Report of the meeting of the e-inclusion Subgroup on future e-inclusion
policy orientations - The e-inclusion Subgroup of the i2010 High Level
Group held its 11th meeting in Limassol, Cyprus, on 7 and 8 April 2009. The
purpose of the meeting was to discuss and form a consensus on future
e-inclusion policy orientations. The ‘Limassol report’ produced as the
result of the meeting will contribute to the preparations of the next
European strategy on the information society, to succeed the i2010
initiative. In the conclusions of the report, the e-inclusion Subgroup
recommends that the European Commission and European Member States, together
with other European Institutions, continue working together and intensify
efforts in e-inclusion.

Report on the Public Consultation on European E-Inclusion Policy - An
online public consultation was launched in Spring 2009. Its main objective
was to gather views on the role of e-Inclusion in the future European
strategy on the information society that will succeed the "i2010"
initiative. The survey was also aimed at gathering opinions on European
programmes and activities supporting e-Inclusion and cooperation modalities
between European Commission services and relevant stakeholders regarding
e-Inclusion activities.

The document was presented at the December 2007 Ministerial conference in Lisbon. It reports on the results of the call for contributions on eInclusion, listing all initiatives submitted as contributions to the call.
