Service & Social Robotics for
Ageing Well
Context: A Collaborative Project–Coordination and Support Action (CP-CSA) is on
the topic of Pre-commercial Procurement (PCP): Service & Social Robotics for
Ageing Well. PCP actions should aim to implement a joint PCP call for tender to
develop targeted services for extended independent living of elderly people and
support for higher efficiency and quality of care work based on robotics
solutions. This workshop is designed to facilitate networking among potentially
interested parties, provide a platform for exchange of ideas, exploring areas
for use and application and to inform interested parties about the potential of
PCP actions in the field of robotics for ageing well.
Target audience: Public sector representatives/procurers (regions, local
authorities) active in the field of procurement with operational responsibility
and budgetary authority on elderly care; end-user organisation representative;
suppliers, industry representatives, research institutes/organisations active in
the field of service and social robotics and interested in public-private
partnerships.
