FP7 Activities
The European Union has supported research efforts in the field of eGovernment for almost two decades. The technologies developed in hundreds of successful projects have contributed to improving the provision of eGovernment services for citizens and business.
The EU’s Research and Development Framework Programmes bring together teams from different institutions and countries, ensuring that the best research brains combine their knowledge and experience to improve Europeans’ standards of living. Various activities such as workshops, high-level meetings, etc. are regularly being organised to support this exchange of knowledge and best practices, and to discuss and identify potential opportunities for achieving a bigger momentum and wider impact for the new research on "ICT for governance & policy modelling".
