Results of ICT PSP (Digital Libraries) Call 2009
47 project proposals were received for theme Digital Libraries and were evaluated in Luxembourg from 21 - 25 June 2011 with the assistance of outside experts.
10 proposals were retained for negotiation recommended for a total EC funding of 25 M€.
Results of eContentplus Call 2008
102 proposals were received by the above-mentioned deadline and were evaluated in Luxembourg from 2 July to 16 July 2008 with the assistance of outside experts. Following the evaluation, negotiations have been opened with 17 proposals, recommended for a total EC funding of 47.55 M€:
Best Practice Networks (BPN):
- for Geographic Information (Action 3.1 - maximum EC funding: 11.6 M€)
- for Educational Content (Action 4.1 - maximum EC funding: 8.5 M€)
- Digital Libraries (Action 5.1 - maximum EC funding: 16.9 M€)
Targeted Projects (TP):
- for Educational Content (Action 4.2 - maximum EC funding: 4.0 M€)
- for Digital Libraries (Action 5.2 - maximum EC funding: 2.55 M€)
- for Scientific/Scholarly Content (Action 5.3 - maximum EC funding: 3.1 M€)
A Thematic Network (TN):
- on Language Resources (Action 6.1 - maximum EC funding: 0.9 M€)

Results of eContentplus Call 2006
138 proposals were received in response to the eContentplus 2006 call for proposals. The total value of the submitted projects amounts to 401.6 M€, with a total requested funding of 209.2 M€. Following the project evaluation, 16 proposals have been recommended to be retained for negotiation, for an overall amount of EC funding of 27.7 M€ across the programme target areas as follows:
- Geographic information: 2 Targeted Projects (maximum EC funding: 2.9 M€) and 1 Thematic Network (maximum EC funding: 0.95 M€).
- Educational content: 6 Targeted Projects (maximum EC funding: 11.9 M€), 1 Thematic Network (maximum EC funding: 1.0 M€).
- Digital Libraries (Cultural and scientific/scholarly content): 4 Targeted Projects (maximum EC funding: 8.6 M€) and 1 Thematic Networks (maximum EC funding: 1.3 M€).
- Reinforcing co-operation between digital content stakeholders: 1 Thematic Network (maximum EC funding: 1.0 M€).
Co-ordinators of submitted proposals have been directly informed of the results of the evaluation. Negotiations are currently ongoing. Grant agreements are expected to be signed during summer 2007. More detailed information on the selected projects will be published once the grant agreements will have been signed.
Results of eContentplus Call 2005
238 eligible proposals with a total requested EC contribution of M€ 370 across the open actions of the programme were submitted in response to the eContentplus 2005 call for proposals.Following the project evaluation, 19 proposals have been recommended to be retained for negotiation, for an overall amount of EC funding of M€ 27.9 across the programme target areas as follows:
- Geographic information: 3 Targeted Projects (maximum EC funding: 3.3 M€).
- Educational content: 3 Content Enrichment Projects (maximum EC funding: 7.85 M€), 1 Thematic Network (maximum EC funding: 0.8 M€).
- Cultural and scientific/scholarly content: 5 Targeted Projects (maximum EC funding: 6.35 M€), 3 Content Enrichment Projects (maximum EC funding: 6.7 M€) and 3 Thematic Networks (maximum EC funding: 1.95 M€).
- Reinforcing co-operation between digital content stakeholders: 1 Thematic Network (maximum EC funding: 0.95 M€).
