The eProcurement learning demonstrators simulate functional requirements for public procurement systems based on the Public Procurement Directives and give a look and feel of how such systems could look like.
The objective of the learning demonstrators is to help software editors and contracting authorities in Europe to develop eProcurement systems in line with the EU legislative framework with a practical example.
The first version of the eProcurement Demonstrators was developed in 2004. This is the new updated version released in 24 November 2008, 13:54 CET.
The IDABC eProcurement Demonstrators are an initiative of European Commission and were developed by a private company European Dynamics. The Demonstrators are free and fully open source under the EUPL licence.
