The results from these programmes can be education and training manuals, course curricula and software, surveys and analyses, co-operation processes and methodologies, managerial lessons learned, know-how and good practices, new forms of cultural expression and intercultural dialogue, and new transnational partnerships and co-operative ventures.
The EVE tool is designed for those involved in EAC programmes and the general public. Because of the variety of potential users, the tool must be easy to use and provide different, efficient and fast search engines.
The system will allow multi-lingual cross-cutting searching and browsing in different data repositories: databases, web pages, relevant portals and websites, and other electronic documents. A help-desk facility is also foreseen. This automatic service will orient users towards the most appropriate source of information.
A feasibility study has been undertaken and development of a prototype system is now underway.
Project cost: €500,000 total.
