Innovative projekter kan få EU-støtte under sundhedsprogrammet som led i EU's sundhedsstrategi.
Forvaltningsorganet for Sundhed og Forbrugere har siden 2005 stået for indkaldelser af forslag til projekter og tager sig også af tilskud, konferencer og forbindelser med støttemodtagere under sundhedsprogrammet.
