Hand-rub

Definition:

Hand-rubs are sometimes referred to as waterless hand cleaners. They are often alcohol-base and work by killing germs that are present on the hands, contrarily to soap that does not kill germs but allows for the physical removal of germs when combined with running water and rubbing.
