On 10 October 2011, the Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR) advising the European Commission, will be organizing in Brussels a scientific hearing on the preliminary opinion on Health Effects of Artificial Light, recently approved for public consultation.
The opinion has been published on the internet for public consultation available at the following site.
The deadline for submission of comments is 30 September 2011.
The planned hearing aims to complement the internet consultation and provide stakeholders and the public with an opportunity to present to the SCENIHR Working Group experts scientific evidence and argumentation on the subject of the opinion.
