The Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) has received a request for a scientific opinion on the safety of oxidative hair dye substances and hydrogen peroxide in products to colour eyelashes

Scope of the call for information:
Interested parties are invited to submit any relevant information that could assist the scientific committee on the safety assessment, such as identification of the cosmetic ingredients and their concentration of such products to colour eyelashes; protocols of applications; data on adverse effect cases; results from toxicological tests with such products or ingredients contained within or any other scientific data considered relevant to assess the safety of such products.
Submission of information:
All information should be submitted in electronic form to Sanco-SCCS-Secretariat AT ec.europa.eu specifying “eyelashes - Call for Information” in the subject line of the e-mail.
All information is considered public unless otherwise stated by the provider.
