Identifying best practice in actions on tobacco smoking to reduce health inequalities Many health risks are more common among lower socio-economic groups, and have been shown to cause considerable health inequalities. This study describes the impact of tobacco control policies on socio-demographic groups in Europe.
Ebola a priority topic at 15th Global Health Security Initiative Ministerial Meeting in Tokyo Health experts and ministers from the European Commission, the WHO, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Britain, Canada and the US met on 11 December to discuss collective preparedness and response to various types of health threats, including Ebola.
