European Commission - Public Health website connecting to health across Europe
DG Health and Consumers is pleased to present the new version of the Commission Public Health website (http://ec.europa.eu/health).
The new site has a double purpose:
- To adapt its design of the website to new internet devices, particularly navigation on smartphones and tablets.
- To integrate the Health-EU Portal (http://health.europa.eu) and its newsletter (http://ec.europa.eu/health/newsletter/newsletter_en.htm).
All trustworthy information on health from across Europe will still be accessible from the EC-Public Health website. Under each topic, the Portal section proposes a comprehensive range of information and links to policies and activities in the European Union organised under the headings: EU activities, NGOs and International Organisations.
National policies on each topic can be found in the My country section. View an example on nutrition and physical activity.
Keep yourself up-to-date about major decisions and events in the health field with the sections on latest news and major topical Events occurring across Europe. These news and events are and brought to you using the most recent technologies from trustworthy public health websites.
