Working groups

The Commission helps promote healthy environments through a number of working groups, where it works with experts from EU governments, other EU bodies, international organisations, medical professionals, academics, researchers, NGOs and the business community.

Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion

EU injury prevention and safety promotion group – helps draw up national measures and action plans for implementing EU recommendations on injury prevention and safety promotion.

Expert group on indoor air quality

EU expert group on indoor air quality – seeks to reduce chronic respiratory diseases and cancer due to indoor environmental pollutants. Looks at both legislative and non-legislative solutions.

Consultative Forum

EU consultative forum on environment and health – where the EU consults stakeholders on EU environment and health strategy. Main task is to promote the integration of health and environmental policies.
