NotesAimed at Technical & Regulatory staff - PSD successfully delivered Consumer Risk Assessment training days on Tuesday 19th June 2007 and Thursday 21st June 2007. The training covered the underlying principles of chronic and acute risk assessment calculations, the selection of residue values for risk assessment purposes, the effect of processing factors and the use of variability factors in probabilistic modelling. The training was targeted at technical and regulatory staff involved in the production and submission of data to PSD. The aim of the day is to raise awareness, provide guidance in the appropriate use of residue values in risk assessment models and highlight commonly encountered problems. If there is sufficient interest we will run another session later in 2007.
