Inovativni projekti za spodbujanje zdravja lahko črpajo sredstva iz programa za zdravje, saj izvajajo zdravstveno strategijo EU Seznam prevodov predhodne povezave English (en) .

Od leta 2005 Izvajalska agencija za zdravje in potrošnike pripravlja in vodi razpise za projekte, dodeljuje nepovratna sredstva, organizira konference in skrbi za odnose s prejemniki sredstev iz programa za zdravje.
