Jens Ring, chair

Jens Ring has been a European Commission official since 1986. He has worked for the Directorates General for Personnel & Administration and Health & Consumers. He has been the Press- & Media Officer at the European Commission Representation in Denmark since October 2012.

Peter Qvortrup Geisling, health expert

Peter Qvortrup Geisling is a medical doctor, lecturer and journalist, health correspondent of DR Nyheder and known for the TV program "Lægens bord" (Doctor's Surgery) on DR (presenter of this programme from 1997 to 2005) as well as other TV programmes on DR such as "Ha' det godt" ("Take care") and "Diagnose søges" ("Looking for a diagnosis").

Christian Howard Jessen, journalist

Christian Howard-Jessen is Senior Advisor and associate partner in FrontPage. He is an experienced journalist working as an editor, foreign correspondent and reporter for various Danish media, including the Danish Broadcasting Company. He was also the Senior Press Officer in the Health Department at the Danish Medicines Agency.

Kristian Lund, journalist

Kristian Lund is CEO of KLUND MEDIA. From 2005 to October 2013, he was editor-in-chief and CEO of "Dagens Medicin", a publication covering health and medical issues in a wide sense and targeting the medical professions. Before that he had a distinguished career as editor and CEO of the daily "BT" and in the "Børsens Magasiner" conglomerate. Kristian Lund is Vice-President and member of the Board of the professional body of Danish media, "Danske Medier" as well chairman of the editorial board of "Danske Mediern".

Torben Kitaj, journalist

Torben Kitaj is currently editor in chief of "Ugeskrift for Læger" the Journal of the Danish Medical Association, which is the largest Danish scientific journal. Previously he was a journalist of the national TV program "Horisont", foreign affairs editor of the national daily "Information" and national TV news program "TV Avisen". Torben Kitaj has been an external examiner at the Danish School of Media and Journalism and at the University of Southern Denmark. He has also undertaken consultancy jobs in Europe and Asia.
