 In your business, you would certainly anticipate problems in order to avoid them. The same goes for regulatory barriers: if you export a product, you probably prefer to be alerted early about of new technical requirements applying to that product. In the EU, the internal market ensures that products move freely. But what if you are exporting outside the EU, in third countries?

As from 1 February 2022, the EU automatic alert system will be disabled. There will no longer be a subscription function. All users are advised to register for alerts on WTO’s ePing website: https://www.epingalert.org/en

As of 1 February 2022, the EU will continue to publish all EU TBT notifications, EU Member States’ TBT notifications, and third country TBT notifications on which the EU decided to send comments. All EU comments sent to other WTO Members will also be published on this website.

As regards comments sent on EU TBT notifications by other WTO Members, these will only be published if they contain no personal data.

All EU replies to comments from other WTO Members will also be published.
