Draft of Ordinance of the Federal Office of Public Health (OFOPH) concerning the inscription of active substances for the use in biocidal products according to the annexe 2 of the Swiss Ordinance on Biocidal Products (OBP); 31 pages; available in German, French and Italian.Switzerland harmonises technical regulations in the field of biocidal products with its main trading partner, the European Union. The approval of substances enables products containing such substances to be authorized in Switzerland. As from December 2015, Switzerland will notify approvals of substances if different from the approvals of substances following Regulation (EU) 528/2012.

Description
According to art. 9 paragraph 5 letter a of the present OBP the Federal Office of Public Health is the competent authority to amend the list of active substances for inclusion in biocidal products.
