Description
The notified Protocol establishes the energy efficiency certification procedure for self-ballasted LED lamps covered by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Standard No. 62612:2015-10 and presenting the following characteristics:intended for domestic and similar general lighting purposes;a rated power up to 60 W;a rated voltage of > 50 V a.c. up to 250 V a.c.;B15d, B22d, E11, E12, E14, E17, E26, E27, GU10, GZ10 and GX53 caps;producing white light;inorganic LEDs.The Protocol covers LED lamps with filaments that imitate the filaments of incandescent lamps. It also covers dimmable lamps.The following products are not covered: LED panels for domestic use; round LED spotlights (recessed); and RGB LED lamps.Objectives
