    Beschäftigung mit den Wechselbeziehungen zwischen Arbeit, Beruf und Gesundheit mit dem Ziel der Erhaltung und Förderung von Gesundheit und Leistungsfähigkeit der Mitarbeiterinnen/Mitarbeiter, wobei sich das Aufgabengebiet der Arbeitsmedizin insbesondere auf die Erkennung gesundheits- und leistungsrelevanter Faktoren im betrieblichen Geschehen, die Bewertung der Auswirkungen dieser Faktoren auf den Menschen und den betrieblichen Ablauf, Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Präventionsmaßnahmen, die Abklärung von Gesundheitsstörungen hinsichtlich ihrer möglichen arbeitsbedingten Ursachen sowie Mitwirkung bei medizinischen Maßnahmen bei durch Arbeitsunfälle und durch das Arbeitsgeschehen verursachten Erkrankungen einschließlich der Durchführung berufsfördernder Rehabilitation erstreckt
