    A specialist in Infectious Diseases possesses the theoretical, scientific and professional knowledge in the field of pathophysiology and clinical aspects of infectious diseases. Their specific areas of clinical expertise relate to functional and instrumental symptomatology, clinical methodology and therapy in infectious diseases, clinical parasitology, mycology and virology including sexually transmitted diseases, and the diagnostic pathophysiology and clinical aspects of diseases of predominantly tropical circulation.
