    A specialist in Nephrology possesses theoretical, scientific and professional knowledge in the field of pathophysiology and clinical aspects of the diseases of kidney and urinary tract; their areas of clinical expertise and research are functional and instrumental symptomatology, clinical methodology as well as and dietary, pharmacological and instrumental therapy in nephrology with special regard to renal function replacement dialysis therapy and post-transplantation.
