    Lo specialista in Neuropsichiatria Infantile possiede conoscenze teoriche, scientifiche e professionali nel campo della semeiotica funzionale e strumentale, della metodologia clinica, dei trattamenti farmacologici, psicoterapici e riabilitativi per poter effettuare la presa in carico globale dei soggetti affetti da patologie neuro-psichiatriche dell’età evolutiva (0-18 anni); conosce le problematiche psicosociali delle malattie croniche dell’età evolutiva; conosce i principi di tutela e promozione della salute mentale e di prevenzione delle malattie neuropsichiche e di lotta allo stigma nell’età evolutiva; possiede una approfondita conoscenza sui rapporti fra patologie internistiche o chirurgiche e disturbi mentali e sulle problematiche relative alla psichiatria di consultazione e collegamento in età evolutiva

    A specialist in Child Neuropsychiatry possesses theoretical, scientific and professional knowledge in the field of functional and instrumental symptomatology, clinical methodology, drug therapy, psychotherapy and rehabilitation treatment applied in order to take overall care of patients with neuro-psychiatric pathologies of the developmental age (0-18 years); is familiar with the psycho-social aspects of chronic diseases of the developmental age; knows the principles of mental health protection and promotion, prevention of neuropsychological diseases and the fight against the stigma in the developmental age; has a thorough knowledge about the relationship between the diseases of internal and surgical character and mental disorders as well as about the issues relating to consultation-liaison psychiatry in childhood.
