    "Lo specialista in Chirurgia Plastica, Ricostruttiva ed Estetica possiede conoscenze teoriche, scientifiche e professionali nel campo della fisiopatologia, clinica e terapia delle malformazioni, dei traumi, delle neoplasie e di tutte le altre patologie che provocano alterazioni morfologiche e funzionali. E' esperto nella chirurgia riparatrice dei tegumenti, delle parti molli e dello scheletro con finalità morfofunzionali. Possiede competenze nel trattamento delle ustioni in fase acuta e cronica, nella fisiologia e nella clinica dei processi di riparazione, nelle tecniche chirurgiche di trasferimento e plastica tissutale, ivi compresi i trapianti di organi e tessuti di competenza, nonché le biotecnologie sottese all’impiego di biomateriali. Lo Specialista in Chirurgia Plastica, Ricostruttiva ed estetica possiede, altresì, competenza nelle tecniche chirurgiche con implicazioni e finalità di carattere estetico"


    The specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery possesses theoretical, scientific and professional knowledge in the field of pathophysiology, clinical aspects and treatment of deformities, trauma, neoplasms and all the other diseases that cause morphological and functional alterations. They are experts in reconstructive surgery of the integuments, soft tissues and the skeleton for morphofunctional purposes. They have expertise in the treatment of burns in acute and chronic phase, in physiology and clinical aspects of the processes of repair, in surgical techniques of transfer and plastics of tissue, including the transplantation of organs and tissues of competence, as well as the use of biotechnology underlying bio-materials. The specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery has also expertise in surgical techniques applied for aesthetic purposes.
