    I laureati nei corsi di laurea magistrale in odontoiatria e protesi dentaria svolgono attività inerenti la prevenzione, la diagnosi e la terapia delle malattie ed anomalie congenite e acquisite dei denti, della bocca, delle mascelle, dei relativi tessuti nonchè la prevenzione e riabilitazione odontoiatrica. Gli odontoiatri possono prescrivere tutti i farmaci e medicamenti necessari all'esercizio della professione.
