    Description of activities:
    Childminder in England: A person providing care for one or more children aged between birth and 18, to whom they are not related, for reward, in someone’s home – usually their own. Childminder in Wales: A person acts as a child minder if the person looks after one or more children under the age of 8 on domestic premises for reward. Child minding is a regulated activity. Any person who carries out the activity must register with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) and then is subject to the regulatory requirements under part 2 of the Children and Families (Wales) Measure 2010.
