    È accompagnatore turistico chi, per professione, accompagna persone singole o gruppi di persone nei viaggi attraverso il territorio nazionale o all'estero; fornisce elementi significativi e notizie di interesse turistico sulle zone di transito al di fuori dell'ambito di competenza delle guide.Cura l'attuazione del programma turistico prestabilito, presta assistenza per risolvere quei piccoli o grandi inconvenienti che si possono verificare durante un viaggio. A lui tocca gestire gli adempimenti burocratici ed amministrativi del gruppo che accompagna, provvedere alla sistemazione dei partecipanti negli alberghi, far rispettare gli orari degli appuntamenti programmati, favorire una buona armonia nel gruppo ed ascoltare i reclami di chi non è soddisfatto. E' dunque il responsabile del buon andamento del viaggio ed è il punto di riferimento dei viaggiatori per tutta la durata dello stesso.

    The tour manager is a professional who, accompanies individuals or groups of people on journeys through the country or abroad, and provides significant news and information concerning transit zones which are interesting from touristic point of view and do not belong to the scope of competence of the tourist guide. He/she takes care of implementation of the tourist program preset, assisting to resolve those small or big problems that may occur during a trip. He/she manages the fulfillment of the bureaucratic and administrative requirements for the accompanied group, arranges accommodation in hotels for the participants, takes care that timetables of scheduled appointments are respected, promotes good harmony in the group and listens to the complaints of those who are not satisfied. And 'therefore is responsible for the smooth running of the trip and is the reference point for the travelers for its whole duration. (EN)
